We had so much fun shooting Shannon and Chris’ engagement photos in Delray Beach. Although the wind was out in full force, the rain held off and we were able to get in a lot of dramatic beach shots and some fun photos downtown. As you can see from the pictures, these two are naturals in front of the camera and made our job so easy! Here are just a few select images from their shoot. Enjoy!
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding day for David and Tricia, or a more perfect setting than Palm Beach’s Peanut Island. The bridal party got ready inside the old Coast Guard Station and the ceremony took place outside on water’s edge just before sundown, followed by a lovely reception in the nearby Boathouse. Tricia’s choice of Lavender and Jade Green accents tied in beautifully with the natural setting–and we absolutely loved her dress! She even had 2 different pairs of shoes for the wedding day: heels for the ceremony and bridal flip flops for the reception! Our favorite part of the day, though, was just getting to watch how happy David and Tricia were to be marrying one another–it was easy to see that these two have many years of happiness to look forward to. We hope you enjoy this selection of images from their special day!
Rebecca and Matt were married this past weekend at the Jupiter Lighthouse, just before Hurricane Isaac rolled into town. Luckily, the rain stayed away for their special day and we were able to capture some great moments from their sweet ceremony underneath the lighthouse and their reception at nearby Jupiter Country Club. Although we didn’t have the chance to meet Rebecca and Matt in person before their wedding, they were both so warm, easy going, and thrilled to be getting married that photographing the couple was a joy! Congratulations, Matt and Rebecca, and we wish you so much happiness in your new life together!
When Aja and Danny told us they were interested in a “travel-themed” engagement session we knew we were going to absolutely love working with them! We had so much fun planning this shoot at the Lantana Airpark–the old planes and hangars provided the perfect backdrop for the pictures. We even stumbled upon a red plane that matched Aja’s dress! After the airport, we headed over to John Prince Park for some fun pictures tossing around the football and walking on the nature trail. Aja and Danny, thanks for a great afternoon, and we are so looking forward to your wedding!
We met Laura and Mike for the first time at their engagement session in Delray Beach. Some of their good friends had chipped in to surprise them with the engagement shoot, and we were so happy that they chose us to capture it! We had such a good time with Laura, Mike and Lady, and got some really great shots as the sun was going down and a storm was rolling in from the ocean. The couple is getting married in a special ceremony next year, and we can’t wait for the opportunity to travel with them and spend the day capturing their wedding photos. If you can’t tell, Laura and Mike just enjoy each other so much, and we are so happy that the we got to work with them and Lady (she posed very nicely for the camera). These are just a few of our favorites photos from the day, so be sure to leave a comment and let us know what you think!
Here are a few of our favorite images from Stephanie and Dalton’s wedding in Deerfield Beach. We had such a great time with them both before and during the wedding–they were so happy and excited to be marrying one another and it was apparent to everyone around. Stephanie did a great job with the decorations and styling. Shades of gold and pink were present throughout the ceremony and reception; all of the details came together perfectly (check out her cute take on the “card holder” concept). Stephanie and Dalton: thank you for sharing your wedding day with us and congratulations again, we are so happy for you both!
We woke up early to meet David and Tricia at the Big Tree on Palm Beach island for their engagement shoot. The sunlight was perfectly diffused by some early morning rain clouds and it made for some great pictures! We also got to meet the couple’s puppy, Henry, who was very well behaved and even looked directly at the camera for some of the shots. We always love it when our couples include their pets, and Henry was particularly photogenic. After the Flagler Museum, we also took a trip down to Worth Ave. to get some shots by the shops up and down the strip. We had a great time with David and Tricia and Henry, and can’t wait for the wedding day on Peanut Island!
